The Dabkeh Dude

Here’s one of the promo’s I shot for MTV arabia. it’s a fun little film.

Shot on location in Baalbek-Lebanon, the image was treated later on to mimic the old Lebanese Tourism Board postcards from the 60′s and 70′s, where the skies where manually retouched with a bright flat cyan color.

The Dabkeh wardrobe (Stylist – Bchara Atallah) and dance (Choreographer – Charles Makriss) were designed with the original Baalbek Fesival troops from the 60′s, including our beloved Sabah and Nasri Shamseddine.

enjoy!
